I would like to thank the local residents of SPRINGFIELD CRESCENT who helped me with CCTV enquiries earlier this week following three vehicle related offences on this street. Good News:
The team took part in Operation Advance in Solihull this past week. Joining a range of specialist teams and local officers in a crackdown on everything from anti-social behaviour to trading standards. Our team joined an enforcement warrant on two businesses simultaneously believed to be selling illegal goods in the local area. A number of illegal items were seized. Afterwards, our team were on proactive patrols in our area responding to the most recent intelligence provided to us by residents and dealing with incoming incidents.
Some great proactive work this past week and weekend with three stolen cars recovered and two suspects in cuffs following a foot chase. Officers were on patrol when we came across the vehicles with the suspects inside. With the help of our response team colleagues, we were able to get hands on with the suspected car thieves. The investigation is underway with multiple lines of ongoing enquires to allow us to make follow up arrests and charge the suspects. A further vehicle was seized which was used in crime, and this is now off the road and out of the hands of criminals.
I hope you all have a great start to next week and we will update you again at the end of next set. Regards,
Dan | ||
